Super Eagles head coach Eric Chelle has released his 24-man squad for Nigeria's upcoming 2027 Africa Cup of Nations qualifying double-header against Tanzania in November.

The Super Eagles will face Tanzania on November 13 and 17, 2026, as they begin their quest to secure qualification for the 2027 Africa Cup of Nations.

Chelle has retained a strong core of experienced players, with Moses Simon, Alex Iwobi and Wilfred Ndidi all named in the squad.

In defence, Benjamin Frederick makes a return to the squad once again, while Bruno Onyemaechi, Olaoluwa Aina, Oluwasemilogo Ajayi, Calvin Bassey, Chibuike Nwaiwu, Bright Osayi-Samuel and new boy Abdullahi Bewene complete the defensive options.

Tochukwu Nnadi and Fisayo Dele-Bashiru also return to the fold following injury layoffs, while Mubarak Suleiman and Samson Tijani earn their maiden competitive call-ups.

In attack, Victor Osimhen misses out due to a knee injury sustained at Galatasaray, while Tolu Arokodare, Taiwo Awoniyi and Akor Adams return as the available striking options.

Moses Usor also returns to the squad following an impressive debut in September, while regulars Moses Simon and Ademola Lookman make the cut.
