Nigeria head coach Éric Chelle has named his starting XI for the Super Eagles’ second Group L fixture of the 2027 Africa Cup of Nations qualifiers against Guinea-Bissau.
Goalkeeper: Stanley Nwabali
Defenders: Bright Osayi-Samuel, Semi Ajayi, Calvin Bassey, Bruno Onyemaechi
Midfielders: Wilfred Ndidi, Frank Onyeka, Alex Iwobi
Forwards: Ademola Lookman, Taiwo Awoniyi, Akor Adams
Nwabali retains his place in goal, while Osayi-Samuel starts in defence alongside Ajayi, Bassey and Onyemaechi.
Captain Wilfred Ndidi starts in midfield alongside Frank Onyeka and Alex Iwobi.
In attack, Ademola Lookman and Akor Adams are joined by Taiwo Awoniyi.
Nigeria will be looking to build on their 2-1 comeback victory over Madagascar in their opening Group L fixture. George Ilenikhena and Moses Usor both scored on their senior international debuts in Uyo, but the pair start Tuesday’s match on the bench.
