The squad combines experienced D’Tigress players with emerging talent as head coach Rena Wakama prepares Nigeria for another major international campaign.
Amy Okonkwo, who captained Nigeria at the 2025 FIBA Women’s AfroBasket, returns as one of the team’s key figures. She was instrumental in Nigeria’s record-extending fifth consecutive AfroBasket title in Abidjan last year.
