Golden Eaglets Suffer 1–0 Friendly Defeat to Galadima FC in Abuja

Nigeria Golden Eaglets suffered a narrow 1–0 defeat to Galadima FC in a friendly match played today at the Goal Project Field in Abuja.
The only goal of the match came in the first half, as Galadima FC took the lead and held on to secure victory against the Golden Eaglets.
The friendly formed part of the team’s preparations for the upcoming 2026 WAFU B U-17 Championship, with Chief Coach Eboboritse Uwejamomere and his players continuing their build-up ahead of the regional tournament.
The 2026 WAFU B U-17 Championship is scheduled to take place in Burkina Faso from November 16 to November 29, 2026, and will serve as the qualifying route for the U-17 Africa Cup of Nations (AFCON).
The Golden Eaglets will now look to build on the lessons from the friendly as preparations continue for the WAFU B tournament.
