Super Falcons’ LA 2028 squad features rising talents from the Flamingos and Falconets, including Kemi Adegbuyi, Janet Akekoromowei and Shakirat Moshood.

Several exciting young talents have been included in Nigeria’s 28-player Super Falcons squad named by interim head coach Augustine Eguavoen for the LA 2028 Olympic qualifiers against Comoros. The squad features players progressing through Nigeria’s youth football system, including recent members of the Flamingos and Falconets setups.
Joy Igbokwe and Farida Abdulwahab are among those returning to the national-team fold after visa issues kept them out of the 2026 FIFA U-20 Women’s World Cup in Poland. Igbokwe captained the Falconets during the qualifiers, while goalkeeper Christiana Uzoma captained the team during the tournament. Uzoma kept three clean sheets, Favour Nkwocha was part of the squad, and Tumininu Adeshina impressed during Nigeria’s run to the quarter-finals.
