Super Falcons defender Chidinma Okeke has officially signed a two-year deal with Italian Serie A Femminile club Napoli Femminile, making a marquee move from Mexican powerhouse Club América.
The 26-year-old center-back brings a wealth of top-flight international experience to Naples after leading Club América to major silverware, including the Liga MX Femenil Clausura title and the CONCACAF W Champions Cup.
Born on August 11, 2000, in Warri, Nigeria, Okeke developed her craft at FC Robo Queens before launching a globetrotting career that includes stints in Spain with Madrid CFF, Israel with Hapoel Be'er Sheva, and Japan's WE League with Mynavi Sendai.
Her arrival at Napoli Femminile significantly strengthens the Italian club's backline ahead of the domestic campaign, giving the squad physical dominance, tactical discipline, and proven big-match capability.
On the international stage, Okeke has been a mainstay for Nigeria's Super Falcons, boasting senior appearances at the 2019 FIFA Women's World Cup and starting all three group stage matches at the 2024 Paris Olympics.
