Nigeria Golden Eaglets Open Camp Today Ahead of 2026 WAFU B U-17 Championship

The Nigeria U-17 national team, the Golden Eaglets, will officially open camp today (5th August) in Abuja as preparations begin for the 2026 WAFU B U-17 Championship in Burkina Faso.
Head coach Manu Garba Ebobo will assemble the invited players at the Goal Project, Abuja, where the team will commence intensive preparations ahead of the regional tournament.

The Golden Eaglets will be aiming to restore Nigeria’s dominance at the U-17 level and secure qualification for the next U-17 Africa Cup of Nations.
The 2026 WAFU B U-17 Championship is scheduled to take place in Burkina Faso from November 16 to 29, 2026, with the tournament serving as the qualifying competition for the U-17 AFCON.
