Flying Eagles Suffer First Defeat but Advance to WAFU B U-20 Semi-finals
Nigeria Flying Eagles suffered a 2-0 defeat to Burkina Faso in their final Group B match of the WAFU B U-20 Championship, with both goals coming in the first half.
Burkina Faso took the lead in the 22nd minute through a well-worked corner kick before doubling their advantage in the 32nd minute with a superb free-kick from around 32 yards out.

The Flying Eagles were unable to find a response, failing to score for the first time in the tournament.
